1. The Nature of the Product: Platform, Not a Boxed Solution
Oduist Connect is an advanced integration framework connecting Odoo with Twilio and Elevenlabs. Because it bridges complex, evolving APIs and deep Odoo functionality, it is best understood not as a "plug-and-play" finished product, but as a robust communication platform. It provides the foundation upon which your specific business logic is built.
2. Our Relationship: Integration Partnership
When you use Oduist Connect, our relationship is that of a Client and an Platform Integrator. I work to implement, adapt,and refine features based on your specific operational needs. My role is to ensure the platform evolves to solve your unique communication challenges.
3. The Economic Model (BSL)
Oduist Connect is distributed under the Business Source License (BSL). This means:
- Free for End-Users: You have access to the source code and can use the platform without license fees.
- Paid Development: Since there are no mass-market license fees to fund a general R&D department, the development of the platform is driven by specific client requests.
4. Development and Bug Policy
Given the complexity of integrating multiple external APIs (Twilio, Elevenlabs) with Odoo’s flexible architecture:
- New Features: Are implemented upon request and are billable.
- Bugs & Adaptations: In a custom integration environment, a "bug" is often an unforeseen edge case or a specific scenario that the current version hasn't encountered yet. Because this is not a mass-market retail product, all technical interventions, including adaptations to fix unforeseen behaviors, are treated as billable engineering tasks.
5. How We Work: Success Packs & Hourly Support
To maintain a sustainable and high-quality development pace, I offer several ways to engage:
- Success Packs (Prepaid Hours): This is the preferred way to work. By purchasing a Success Pack (3, 5, 10, or 25 hours), you secure dedicated time for development, customization, and priority support.
- SLA Subscriptions: For guaranteed reaction times, I offer monthly tiers (Solo, Startup, Business, Enterprise) that define how quickly I acknowledge and start working on your requests.
- On-Demand Support: Regular technical assistance is available at €149/hour, while emergency interventions are billed at €249/hour.
