What it does

Deliver automatically prepared video walkthroughs to employees through an internal Odoo video library.
- Automated publishing
- Agents and scripts can create a video card, upload language versions, publish it and announce it in Discuss through the authenticated REST API.
- One lesson, several languages
- Each video card has a separate title and video file per language, with a shared description and discussion. The initial version follows the viewer's Odoo language when available.
- Channels and conversations
- Publishers manage their own channels. Internal users watch published videos, ask questions in the chatter and follow the discussion.
- Your choice of storage
- Keep MP4 or WebM files in a private S3-compatible bucket or use Odoo attachments. Drafts remain with their owners and video managers until publication.

Prepare the walkthrough
Your video creation tools or agents record the changed workflow and prepare the language versions employees need.
Publish from the workflow
An agent uploads the finished files through the OduTube API and publishes an announcement with a link to the video.
Watch and ask
Employees open the lesson in Odoo, choose a language and discuss the change beneath the video.
Running OduTube
Video generation and recording run in your external workflow; OduTube handles storage, publication and viewing. It does not generate or transcode videos itself. Configure an API publishing user and either Odoo attachment storage or a private S3 bucket.
