Every module adopts the Business Source License

All Connect modules move to the Business Source License 1.1, each shipping its own LICENSE file. The source stays published, readable and modifiable — you can audit exactly what runs next to your business data, and have a partner adapt it for your instance. Evaluation, development and staging use are free.

Production is where the license asks something back. Installing a module starts a 30-day production trial automatically, with no registration; after that, continued production use needs a commercial license, bought per instance. Every released version also carries a change date, on which that version becomes available under the GNU LGPL-3.0-or-later and the restrictions lapse.
